Stig Carlsson was a swedish sculptor/designer. During his early career he was an apprentice to Gunnar Nylund at Rörstrand. In the mid 70s he opened up his own studio. Nyhamnsläge, where he made unique objects in ceramicsand other compositions.

This sculture is most likely from his time at Nyhamnsläge.
